My NELFund ("the Application") is an independent civic mobile application developed by Abdullahi Adam Usman (under Anjal Ventures). The Application is designed exclusively to educate Nigerian students, prospective scholars, and parents on statutory provisions, repayment calculators, and eligibility parameters established under the Students Loans (Access to Higher Education) (Repeal and Re-enactment) Act 2024.

This Privacy Policy describes our strict adherence to privacy rights, user safety, and regulatory compliance under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA 2023), the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), the Apple App Store Review Guidelines, and the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement.

2. Zero Personal Data Collection Guarantee

Unlike official government loan administration portals, My NELFund operates as an offline educational and computational simulation guide. The Application:

• Does NOT collect your full name, email address, home address, or phone number.
• Does NOT request or store your Bank Verification Number (BVN) or National Identity Number (NIN).
• Does NOT request or record your institutional matriculation number, JAMB registration number, or academic transcripts.
• Does NOT collect or transmit your bank account details, salary records, loan amounts, or business profit figures.
• Does NOT use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, or cross-app identifier beacons (such as IDFA or AAID).

3. 100% On-Device Local Processing

Any numbers, loan amounts, academic streams, or income figures you input into the Payment Calculator or Eligibility Checker are processed purely inside your device's temporary memory (RAM). When you close the app or switch tabs, this transient state is managed locally by your operating system. No data packet is ever generated, transmitted, or stored on remote servers or cloud databases.

4. Third-Party SDKs and Analytics Audit

We respect your digital sovereignty. My NELFund contains:

• NO commercial analytics SDKs (such as Google Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or Flurry).
• NO advertising SDKs (such as Google AdMob, Unity Ads, or Meta Audience Network).
• NO social media tracking libraries (such as Facebook Graph SDK or TikTok Pixel).
• NO automated profiling, credit scoring, or behavioral algorithmic processing.

5. Device Permissions Disclosure

The Application requires minimal operating system permissions to function:

• Local Notifications (Optional): If enabled by you, the app may schedule local device alerts to notify you of statutory timeline milestones (such as application window closures). These notifications are generated internally by your device without contacting remote push servers.
• Internet Access (External Hyperlinks): When you explicitly tap external informational links (such as the official NELFUND portal at nelf.gov.ng or the developer's website at anjalventures.com), your default web browser opens to display those public web pages. My NELFund does not monitor, log, or track your browsing activity.

6. Children's Privacy & Educational Safety

My NELFund is dedicated to educational transparency and is safe for students of all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information whatsoever, our service complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent provisions under Nigerian child rights laws. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18 or any user of any age.

7. Civic Clarification & Non-Affiliation

My NELFund is an independent civic utility. It is not owned, operated, endorsed, or distributed by NELFUND (Nigerian Education Loan Fund) or the Federal Government of Nigeria. Official student loan applications must always be conducted directly on the official federal portal at nelf.gov.ng.
